Dear Colleagues,

The High Court of Australia has recently released its latest take on the doctrinal requirements for the negligent infliction of nervous shock; see Tame v. NSW, http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/cases/cth/high_ct/2002/35.html.

Be warned that the case has multiple judgments and that the total length of the decision is in the neighbourhood of 135 pages.
