Subject: New HL case

Dear Colleagues,

There is a new HL case available that deals with whether the Law Reform (Contributory Negligence) Act 1945 allows a claim of contributory negligence in the case of fraudulent misrepresentation.

There are also some very interesting discussions about the liability of directors for fraud (their own, or the company's) and the scope of Williams v Natural Life Health Foods Ltd in this regard.
