For those interested in the nature of charitable trusts, the PC has just released its advice in Latimer v. The Commissioner of Inland Revenue (see http://www.privy-council.org.uk/files/other/latimer-adv.rtf). Lord Millet has some interesting things to say about the charitable trust and its relation to the quistclose trust on the facts of the case.
