Subject: Long Judgments

 

Allen v Flood: report runs to 181 pages, 86,000 words, very few footnotes (not conseq. numbered).

But there were of course 17 separate judicial opinions.

Dear Colleagues,

Thanks for the help. So far my best/worst examples are:

Cattanach = 69,517 words; 606 footnotes.

Perre = 68,900 words; 539 footnotes!

Norsk =51,295 words

London Drugs =52,887 words

Fairchild = 46,402 words
