No more than breathing all the rest of the crap floating in the downtown Toronto air that I breathe daily.
In addition, I'm certain that if I'd seen friable asbestos fibres floating in the air at Osgoode Hall (or even a Western Law School lecture hall), I wouldn't develop a debilitating psychosis based on the belief that I might have previously breathed in fibres there and then refuse to breathe any air anywhere near there lest I inhale additional fibres so that I can't practice law profitably any more. And, I wouldn't develop this psychosis even though I'm extremely sensitive to air-pollution issues because I'm asthmatic. (The fact that I was born just a few hours south - as the crow flies - of Lebanon where, let's assume, people aren't quite as sensitive, has nothing to do with it.)
Besides, most of us have been exposed to asbestos dust all of our lives, from the time we went to kindergarden where we were given asbestos-putty to play with.
On the other hand, perhaps I have more than reasonable fortitude. After all, I used to let people shoot hard, vulcanized, objects at me at high speed on the understanding that I wouldn't get out of the way if doing so would be inappropriate, and I'm asthmatic (as mentioned) so maybe I have far more of the customary phlegm. (Especially when I have a chest cold.)
Pace
David

Being exposed to asbestos dust wouldn't upset you?
