The ambiguity inherent in the word "concealment" was why I used the word non-disclosure in my question.  I had assumed that if Lewis had meant "deceit", he would have said "deceit", not "fraudulent concealment".

Concealment involves a positive misrepresentation - Gordon v Selico Co Ltd and Another [1986] EGLR 71.  It is different from a mere failure to disclose, and is capable of supporting an action in deceit.
