It is being held this year at the London School of Economics an= d Political Science from 15-18 September 2008. The theme is =93The Impact o= f Legal Scholarship=94 and a letter of invitation from the President (Professor Sarah Worthington) at: http://www.legalscholars.ac.uk/pubdocs/downloads/PresidentLetter.doc. The Restitution Section meeting will, as usual, be in Group A, therefore meeting in the first half of the conference on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th. I am now inviting volunteers to present papers at the four sessions that have been allocated to us. This September=92s meeting will be our 25th meeting and will be held in t= he Law School where Lord Goff of Chieveley initiated the focused teaching of what has in recent years become the most active area of the common law. W= e hope, therefore, that all scholars with an interest in the law of=20 Restitution of Unjust Enrichment will make a special effort to participat= e in this year=92s conference. I would be grateful to know as soon as possible of any offers to speak. Speakers should provide a working title and in due course an abstract, by July, with a full copy of the paper during August. Papers in the Section meetings are eligible for the conference=92s Best Paper prize, which was successfully instituted last year. Details may be found on the SLS web site. The SLS allows members to present more than one paper at the conference but, if any one is proposing to do this, they should let me know, to facilitate the overall planning of the conference. I am also asked to remind you that all those attending the conference, including speakers, will need to make their own booking for it (in good time!) and pay the appropriate fees. I look forward to hearing from potential speakers at=20 Francis.Rose@bristol.ac.uk ____________________________________________________________________ This message was delivered through the Restitution Discussion Group, an international internet LISTSERV devoted to all aspects of the law of unjust enrichment.
