Robert Chambers notes that CW Reid, of AG Hong Kong v Reid fame, was at it again:

Solicitor-General v Reid [1997] 3 NZLR 617. After returning to New Zealand, Reid, accepted $1M for swearing a false affidavit for use in criminal proceedings in Hong Kong. The money was paid to, and used to purchase property by, the "Grange Trust" in favour of himself and his children. The money was forfeited under the Proceeds of Crime Act 1991. The other beneficiaries of the trust, as donees, were not entitled to relief from forfeiture.

Contrast Foskett v. McKeown ...
