Re:
New: searchable RDG archive

RDG members will be pleased to know that Steve Hedley has performed an extraordinary feat in producing a searchable RDG archive at ‹http://www.law.cam.ac.uk/restitution/ rdg_admin/front.htm›.

It includes messages going all the way back to Feb 97, shortly after the list's inception (I think the period from Sept 95 to Feb 97 is archived only on my hard disk; access will be granted to suitably qualified researchers...). You can browse them in the order they were posted, but also search the whole set.

Since messages are identified primarily by their subject line (in search results or when browsing), I would encourage everyone to try to use informative subject lines in future postings.

This is a very useful resource for all of us, and I would like to thank Steve on behalf of the whole RDG.

Lionel
